Michigan Blood is looking for volunteers to help at their mobile blood drives held throughout Kent County and the surrounding area. The volunteer responsibilities include: Preparing unit collection sets for blood donations by attaching unit ID #'s to tubes, collection bags, and room records Preparing units of blood and sample tubes for immediate storage and heat sealing attached tubing into segments with a segmenting machine
