Junior Achievement is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. We do this by recruiting volunteers from the community to teach K-12 students about financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship.
Volunteers use fun and easy materials provided by JA to lead students through preplanned curriculum. We provide all of the training you need! You will visit the classroom you select for one hour per week for 5 weeks. Exact dates and time of day are determined by the teacher and volunteer.
By giving 5 hours of your time, you equip students with the real-world skills they need to manage their money, plan for a career, and start their own business.
