We are looking for Summer Youth Mentors for the duration of our summer program.You would be responsible for helping run our daily activities and work directly with our students. We are looking for people who can commit to at least one day a week.

Mission Statement
At Wild Words, we aim to develop a love of reading in Public and Section-8 housing. Through one-on-one tutoring sessions, community events, and workshops with local artists, Wild Words creates a safe space for children to develop the academic, interpersonal, and creative skills they need to thrive.
Description
Wild Words is a new literacy program through the Housing Authority of Billings, Montana! Research shows that children in public housing know 30 million less words than their wealthier counterparts by the age of 5! Our literacy program pairs each student with a literacy tutor. Tutors and students meet each week at the center and read books and play literacy games! We have community events where volunteers come in and teach students their favorite hobbies. Lastly, we have free time each week! Students come in and read books, paint, and play games with volunteers! We work with amazing students, ages 4-12.
