Looking to share your passion for gardening with others? Escape to Smith-Gilbert Gardens! Help is needed maintaining the 16 acre garden and historic home. From pulling weeds to creating new garden spaces, volunteering with us will certainly scratch that gardening itch! Horticulture volunteers meet on Monday and Wednesday mornings, as well as sporadically when needed.
As an established collectors garden, we have over 3,000 species of plants, many unique to American gardens. Having grown through the years, the Gardens stand out as an exceptional blend of art, history and horticulture, all creating a tranquil respite of reflection and enjoyment. We need enthusiastic volunteers to join the Smith-Gilbert Gardens team.
