Mission Statement

Children’s Music Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to bringing Music Therapy into the lives of sick children to help overcome pain, fear and anxiety.

Description

Children’s Music Fund provides Music Therapy sessions, led by board-certified Music Therapists, to kids and young adults (0-26 years of age) affected by chronic conditions or life-altering illnesses. While doctors use medications to treat symptoms, music can provide additional healing, both for the body and the soul. Engaging sick children in music-making and listening helps reduce pain and anxiety, and provides a much needed distraction from their conditions and medical treatments.

Children’s Music Fund is here to offer assistance by focusing on the mental well-being of the child through Music Therapy - restoring joy and laughter, singing and playing of instruments, teaching coping mechanisms, alleviating pain-levels, and so much more. Everyday, we are dedicated to helping that sick child on a journey to a better quality of life.
