ORGANIZATION: Tubman

As an Adult and Family Advocate you will collaborate with staff to support people of all genders who have experienced relationship violence, sexual assault, exploitation, stalking and/or harassment, our Adult and Family Advocates are responsible for providing individualized supportive services and comprehensive advocacy to individuals and families currently living at Tubman’s shelters.

Description

For more than 45 years, Tubman has helped people of all ages, all genders, and all cultural backgrounds struggling with relationship violence, substance abuse, mental health, and other forms of trauma. Throughout the Twin Cities, Tubman provides safe shelter, legal services, counseling, youth programming, and community education. Last year, we helped about 17,700 people in Hennepin, Ramsey, and Washington counties and the surrounding area, get the support and information they need to experience safety, hope, and healing.
