Adoption Advocate
St. Tammany Humane Society volunteer Shelby in action as an Adoption Advocate! She is always sure to highlight the positive qualities of our adoptable animals.

Adoption Advocates are responsible for assisting the Adoption Counselors with meet-and-greets between people and animals, having individuals fill out adoption applications, and interacting with adoptable animals. They must also welcome all individuals who come to our organization and determine what department the customer is looking for to redirect them accordingly. AA's will be provided with an FAQ packet about St. Tammany Humane Society and must familiarize themselves with it in order to answer basic questions to the public about our mission, programs, and services.
