We are looking for people who love Tulsa's Art Deco as much as we do! We are a small museum located within the marbled halls of the Philcade Building in downtown Tulsa. We would like to have docents available to give tours and answer questions about the exhibits. Docents will have also have the option to assist with research and writing exhibit information. Our mission is to heighten awareness and appreciation of Art Deco Design from around the world and throughout history, with particular emphasis on it's place in Tulsa's unique history. A successful docent will instill exitement and intrigue in our museum visitors.
A training program is provided for all docents. All that is required is a willingness to learn and the ability to speak in front of groups. Scheduling is very flexible. Fridays and Saturdays are our busier days when docents would have more people to engage with. This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone dedicated to lifelong learning. If you are interested please contact us!
*There is a minimum 6 month commitment for all docents. Docents will volunteer at least 30 hours over a 6 month period.
