Kids Vision for Life is a cost effective approach to provide vision services in the St. Louis area. This year we will partner with 150 schools to conduct vision screenings, eye exams, and provide glasses with the help of our staff, doctors, and volunteers.
We could not do what we do without VOLUNTEERS!! In order to provide services to thousands of students we need extra sets of hands.
Volunteers will conduct vision screenings for kids. Our staff will supervise and train volunteers to conduct the screenings the morning of the screening. It is very simple to learn and helps the school nurses tremendously.

Description
Kids Vision for Life St. Louis (KVFL) provides vision screenings, eye exams and new eyeglasses to students in need, ages 5-18, at no cost to the family. Vision screenings, eye exams, and prescription eyewear are provided to elementary, middle, and highschool students who would not otherwise be able to obtain eyecare.
KVFL currently provides vision services for the following school districts: St. Louis Public Schools, Riverview Gardens, Jennings, Ferguson-Florissant, Bayless, St. Charles, Fox, Normandy, Maplewood Richmond Heights, Mehlville, Hancock Place, Ritenour, Pattonville, as well as several charter schools in the area.
