All people have the right to live in a safe, non-violent environment. Through prevention and intervention services, HAVEN strives to reduce domestic and sexual violence.
Description
HAVEN of Tioga County is a private non-profit organization committed to helping all individuals affected by domestic or sexual violence. HAVEN provides services to all men, women, and children, regardless of age, sex, class, ethnic background, or sexual orientation. All services are free and confidential.
We provide options/empowerment counseling services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault as well as their children and significant others. We offer a 24/7 hotline, medical and legal accompanyment as well as FREE legal services which include help with PFA's, child custody and child support issues. We also offer free temporary emergency housing to those survivors in need.
