Alpha Home is a non-profit drug and alcohol treatment facility that's been serving San Antonio since 1966. Through the generous donations of many people, we've accumulated enough clothing items to create Macy's Closet, which is a donation closet for our clients to pick out clothes from each week. Many of our clients come to our facility with little to no belongings and this is a small way of ensuring our clients are provided with the clothing they need. That said, we are needing volunteers to help us sort through the donations, hang, and arrange them.
The hours are flexible, however it must be during regular business hours: Monday thru Friday 9-5 PM. Prior to starting volunteer work, a short orientation is required which includes: signing some confidentiality paperwork, a background check, a urinalysis, and a brief introduction to our organization.

Our Residential treatment program provides women intensive and expansive therapeutic drug rehab and alcoholism addiction treatment program in a home-like residential setting that prepares them to remain clean and sober while embracing the benefit of a lifelong 12-Step commitment. Centrally located, Alpha Home is the perfect place to find serenity and begin working toward a new life.
