Beacon of Hope Uganda- Eco Culture Tours and Adventures volunteer program is more than just a travel program. We provide a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution through volunteering, and then explore the local Ugandan culture and diverse environments of the country during your stay with us.

You will experience another culture like never before and really get to know its people. You will gain new perspectives and insight into the culture and yourself. A volunteer trip to Uganda is an exciting and personally inspiring experience, and you’ll develop memories that will be with you forever.
Skills required while on any volunteer holiday should be those that can aid you in doing the following:

Work with a youth group, care for children and special needs children, women groups
Provide medical care services to the people that would otherwise not afford it, Teach in a local school, Work with a local social organization, Help build a house or school classes, coach a sports activities or other games.

In this new BoHU-Eco Culture Tours and Adventures- We are transforming lives through responsible tourism.

BoHU Adventures Project supports local initiatives to reduce poverty and protect the environment through educational projects and household income generating activities around Mukono and nearby districts.

Our support is given through various project set up by our development team.

Volunteers and donors automatically become members of BoHU and are given special souvenirs. They are also invited to attend special occasions such as celebrating the success of different aspects of the projects. Our vision is to create environmentally friendly and sustainable income generating activities for the benefit of the local community and the donors. Our objective is to build a foundation upon which profitable ventures can be established for the benefit of the recipient and the donor so as to minimize donor dependency.

GVA Foundation- Africa is a registered charity that runs community projects in rural areas across Africa, focusing on long term community-led solutions to challenges caused by extreme poverty and poor education.

We recruit and place willing, non-skilled and skilled volunteers within our projects across the country. GVA Foundation - Africa seeks to aid in the development of self-sufficient, locally run projects which effectively address the most pressing needs of disadvantaged communities.

Volunteering is an amazing way to gain an insight into the culture of a country. By volunteering with a sustainable and responsible project you will not only become part of the community you work with, but will also be making a valuable contribution to long term solutions for the community served by the project you work with. GVA Foundation - Africa offers volunteers opportunities to work with the following projects:

All GVA Foundation volunteer placements include a donation to your project, the cost of your accommodation, pre-departure preparation and in-country orientation, supervision and training. It also covers the cost of food and daily transport to and from your placement location.
