Access and Information Network (AIN) is hosting our Annual Spring Gala Bloomin' Ball June 1st at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel and we need YOUR help.
With over 450 guests this charity event cannot come together without the assistance of fabulous Volunteers.

FRIDAY SHIFT: FRIDAY 5/31/19 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
- Will assist arranging flower centerpieces for Event
- Dress Code: casual, comfortable clothes
SHIFT A: SATURDAY 6/1/19 9:30 am - 11:30 am
- Will transport silent auction items from storage room to ballroom
- Will assist with silent auction set up
- Must be able to lift small items
- Dress Code: casual, comfortable clothes
SHIFT B: SATURDAY 6/1/19 12 pm - 2:30 pm
- Will finalize silent auction set up
- Will match item photos and bid sheets to silent auction items
- Dress Code: casual, comfortable clothes
SHIFT C: SATURDAY 6/1/19 4 pm - 12:00 am
- Will work the check-in / check-out desk the majority of the night (5 volunteers total)
- Will manage the silent auction boutonniere and corsage table
- Will manage the silent auction wine pull
- Will manage different sections of the auction
- Will assist in the service auction bid number collection
- Will assist in silent auction check-out and item retrieval
- Dress Code: Black dress attire
- Will assist in packing up silent auction items to be transported back to agency
- Must be able to lift small items
- Dress Code: casual, comfortable clothes

Mission Statement
AIN is a multicultural non-profit organization that works to prevent the spread of HIV and provides direct care services to persons living with HIV/AIDS and other vulnerable populations.
Description
Clients and Communities
We serve 2,000 men, women, children and youth who have HIV/AIDS.
Majority are very low income; half are hosing insecure or marginally housed; all need funded programs
We reach over 5,000 men, women, children and youth who are at-risk.
Over 85% are ethnic or racial minorities; specific outreach and education initiatives to Hispanic and African American communities; targeted programs; collaboration within communities
Programs
Transportation--van rides or bus passes for clients to reach and maintain medical care, treatment, and support programs and services
Nutrition--prepared meals of breakfast and lunch served on site daily for clients needing nutrition assistance; other foods, supplies, and weekend program
Daire Center--center based services for clients needing stabilization, respite care, or support in an adult day center facility
Linguistics--Spanish language interpretation and translation for Spanish-speaking clients, caregivers, and other service providers
HIV Prevention--prevention education and risk reduction sessions; prevention with positive individuals; interventions; HIV testing and collaboration with testing providers
