About

Art Connects New York connects artists and curators with social service agencies throughout New York City to create museum-quality permanent exhibitions of contemporary artwork in their facilities, free of charge.

This opportunity is for photographers interested in shooting site-specific exhibition installations located throughout NYC’s five boroughs. Over the past ten years, Art Connects has installed 40 exhibitions in various service agencies. These exhibitions have been documented to varying degrees. The photographer would be responsible for photographing artworks in-situ at select exhibitions for Art Connects’ digital files and archives. Possibility to photograph newly installed exhibitions in 2017. Please see the description below. Hours are flexible and on an as-needed basis.


Duties:

- Set-up site visits with various venues

- Visit exhibition venues and photograph installations

- Work remotely

Requirements:

- Ability to cordially set-up site-visits with select agencies

- Access to camera and editing software i.e. Photoshop

- Experience shooting 2D and 3D artwork in-situ
