Just Off Broadway Theatre provides an inclusive platform for the performing arts. Through our diverse productions and community engagement initiatives, we strive to inspire, entertain, and educate audiences while giving access to smaller Arts Organizations and fostering a supportive environment for local artists. Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant and accessible theatre experience that celebrates creativity, fosters artistic growth, and enriches the cultural fabric of our community.
Description
Just Off Broadway Theatre is dedicated to addressing the community issue of limited resources and access for local theater companies and organizations in the Kansas City theater community. As the catalyst for many of these entities, our theater serves as a home for KC Melting Pot Theatre (KCMPT), a Black-founded and operated company. When KCMPT is not utilizing the space, we provide affordable rentals to small organizations that lack a permanent performance venue.
