The Library Assistant will help organize and catalogue the library and engage a small group of high school students in this project when applicable who are attending the Center's High School.
The library volunteer would maintain the library, create displays, manage the inventory of books, seek resources for additional books that would be enjoyed by young adults, assist high school students and young children with checking out books and returning books.
Additionally, the volunteer would be available to assist high school students with class assignments and projects as requested. If schedule allows, the volunteer may be asked to help organize the donation closet.
