With 2017 starting we are looking for dedicated volunteers with a passion for Autism Speaks’ mission to participate on our Philadelphia Walk Committee. Our Autism Speaks Walk is one of the largest fundraisers geared toward making a difference in the autism community through research, family services, awareness and so much more! This event will take place in October, 2017 at the Citizens Bank Park. The date is to be determined.
Responsibilities for Walk Committee Members: Making phone calls to our team captains and participants with reminders and words of encouragement, spreading the word about the event through local businesses, getting the community involved through fundraising, providing logistics support for the day of the event and more.
Time Commitment: 3-10 hours a month, including a 2-hour monthly meeting.
