A friendly visit can make all the difference in the world to a person on hospice care. As an Alamo Hospice volunteer, you will be a valued member of the professional team that cares for our patients. You will meet patients where they live to read, share stories, listen to music and provide respite for family members. It ensures that patients spend the end of their life in dignity and comfort. Alamo Hospice stresses human values that go beyond the physical needs of the patient. You will be amazed how giving to others will enrich your own sense of well being. We can accommodate your schedule.
