Program: North County Lifeline has partnered with Costco Wholesale's Warehouse donation program, which is intended to meet the needs of organizations focusing on children, education, or health and human services.

Goal of Position: We are looking for an individual to assist with weekly pick-up and delivery of food donations from Costco's Vista location to North County Lifeline's Vista campus. The donations will be distributed to clients and their families.

Tasks/responsibilities:

  • Pick-up food donations every Thursday morning between 8am and 10am
  • Deliver food donations directly from Costco to Lifeline for distribution to clients and their families

Requirements:

  • Must have own transportation
  • Early morning availability
  • Ability to transfer donations from shopping cart to vehicle
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Must have friendly and helpful demeanor

Hours:

  • Process can take between 30-45 minutes from start (Costco arrival) to finish (Lifeline departure)

  • North County Lifeline: 200 Michigan Ave., Vista, CA 92084

Dress Code: Casual Attire
