Is your new year's resolution to volunteer more in your community? Maybe you want to enrich your life while helping others. The Fairview Lakes Medical Center Volunteer Organization is holding an open house and we want YOU!

Volunteers serve as ambassadors for health care in our community, sharing their time and talents to enrich the experiences of hospital patients and staff while improving the heath of the communities we serve. Raising an average of $50,000 each year for enhancements to patient care, our members see the improvements and progress we make on behalf of our patients and communities as both a privilege and promise. We do this through volunteering at the medical center, conducting fundraising events, awarding scholarships to students entering health care careers, and partner with state health care leaders.

To learn more about how you can help raise funds, learn, lead, serve others, make new friends, and have fun, come to our open house on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 6:30-8:30pm. We will meet in conference room B of the medical center which is on the main floor near the cafeteria. There will be a short presentation at 6:30pm followed by a Q&A session, tours, and time to connect with current event and hospital volunteer leaders.
