If you are looking for a more behind the scenes opportunity to serve those in need, you may be a perfect fit for the Merrick Food Shelf! Though participant interaction is minimal, the importance of our administrative work is vital.
* Speaking on the phone to schedule appointments
* Creating and updating participant profiles on ClientTrack
* Filing paperwork
* Helping plan fundraisers

We are looking for someone who can multitask, and has basic computer skills.
The volunteer shifts are very flexible to fit the schedule of anyone interested in helping us with these tasks. Depending on the day, we will be working out of the main office or at our Woodland Hills location. There is no specific commitment for this position. Some people volunteer 3 days a week, others once a month, and everything in between.
