Do you have a few hours on a Saturday morning (or two) each month to donate your time helping clean the cattery at Room 8? We have a few volunteers but could really use more. Not necessarily fun stuff -- cleaning/sanitizing litter boxes, sweeping catios and rooms, wiping down cat furniture and shelves, cleaning kitten cages (well, actually that is fun), doing laundry and maybe washing a few dishes. Not hard labor :) and -- BONUS! -- you get to talk to and pet cats while you work! If you are interested, please contact us!

To provide care, shelter, and successful loving adoptions of homeless domestic cats; to encourage kindness and responsible care for all animals; to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets.
Description
Room 8 Memorial Cat Foundation is a private, non-profit cat shelter. Volunteers are needed to help care for and socialize cats to help them stay healthy and happy while waiting for their forever homes. There are cats waiting to be adopted, others who are a little on the feral side and in need of socialization to help make them adoptable, and older kitties who probably will live out their lives in the comfort of the sanctuary. We can always use help in the cattery, whether it be cleaning, feeding, or petting and grooming. All the cats just want some love! You can come and just pet and play!
