PRE-PACKET PICK UP Pre-Event Volunteers must be fast-paced and highly energetic. Volunteers work alone or in pairs at multiple locations to allow Team Captains to pick up their race bags pre-event. Volunteers must help with clean-up and pack-up of materials.

PACKET ASSEMBLY Pre-Event Volunteer is part of a group effort to package all team bags and individual runner bags to prepare for packet pick-up. Highly organized individual who must have problem resolution skills, be quick thinking, and be fast-paced.

LOGISTICS COORDINATION (PRE-EVENT) Pre-Event Volunteer LEADS the group effort to package all team bags and individual runner bags to prepare for packet pick-up. Highly organized individual who must have problem resolution skills, be quick thinking, and be fast-paced. Volunteer also assist with notifying captains of packet pick-up details and coordination with pick up locations.

PROMOTIONS (PRE-EVENT/ONLINE) Online Volunteer will coordinate online submissions to various sites to promote event. An organized individual with time to spare is needed. Must have access to computer and be comfortable navigating numerous types of online sites.

PROMOTIONS (PRE-EVENT/ ON FOOT) Public Relations Volunteer will coordinate distribution of posters and fliers to promote event. An organized individual with time to spare is needed. Listing of typical locations to hang posters will be given. In addition, fliers can also be mailed to certain businesses and partners.

LOGISTICS COORDINATION (DAY OF EVENT)Event Day Highly organized individual with energy to spare is needed. Volunteer must lead or back up everything on event day and help with clean-up and pack-up of materials. Volunteer must have problem resolution skills, be quick thinking, and be fast-paced.

VENDOR VILLAGE Vendor Relations Volunteer coordinates individual who will be selling their wares in the Village day of event. Volunteer checks in vendors and assist them with their needs throughout the event. Volunteers must have outstanding customer service and highly organized.

REGISTRATION Registration Volunteers must help facilitate run/walk registrations. Volunteers must be fast-paced and highly energetic. Registration logistics include: Bib distribution to runners/walkers and t-shirts if available, etc. Volunteers must help with clean-up and pack-up of materials.

SURVIVOR TENT Event Day Preferred: a survivor or loved one. Volunteers must have a compassionate personality with outstanding customer service. Volunteers help with clean-up and pack-up of materials.

KIDS TENT Event Day Volunteers engage kids, play games, and have fun! Volunteers assist with set-up, managing, and monitoring activities for kids (such as coloring books, bubbles, and face-painting). Volunteers help with clean-up and pack-up of materials.

PRIZE TENT Event Day This area is a fast-paced environment. Highly energetic, organized, strategically-thinking, and enthusiastic volunteers are needed. Volunteers must have outstanding customer service and help with clean-up and pack-up of materials.

HOSPITALITY Event Day Highly energetic, organized, strategically thinking, and enthusiastic volunteers are needed to welcome and assist attendees throughout the event site. Volunteers help with clean-up and pack-up of materials.

REFRESHMENT TENT Event Day This is an area for participants to pick up water and refreshments. Highly energetic and enthusiastic volunteers are needed. Volunteers must have outstanding customer service and help with clean-up and pack-up of materials.

WATER STATION Water Station Water stations are set up along the course and cups of water will be distributed to run/walk participants. Volunteers must have outstanding customer service and help with clean-up and pack-up of materials.

COURSE MARSHALS Race Course Volunteers are positioned throughout the race assisting with the directing and managing of participants on the course. Highly energetic and enthusiastic volunteers are needed. Volunteers must help with clean-up and pack-up of materials.

BUTTERFLY CREW Event Day Energetic, fun individuals needed with social media experience. This crew is responsible for engaging the crowd to post photos on social media in real time during the event. Photos are taken at the step & repeat, and with fun Instagram frames for posting on Face Book and Instagram.
