ORGANIZATION: Girl Scouts of Northern California

Lead the Way is a Leadership Conference for High School girls hosted by High School girls. Girl attend 40 minute workshops hosted by experts in the field covering a wide variety of topics.

This workshop is all about exploring credit and credit vs debit. What it all means, how it all works, and how to keep yourself out of trouble with them.

Girls would like to know the difference between credit and debit on their bank card when shopping. They would like to know all about credit cards including credit score, interest rates, the costs of using it, the pitfalls of credit in college, etc. Girls would like practice deciding the best payment options for a variety of purchases.
