Love Animals? Foster for a cat or kitten(s) for us!! We are in need of volunteers to open their homes for cats/kittens while they are awaiting adoption. We have five adoption locations for cats/kittens in PetValu's across Chester County. Most of the fosters are needed are for kittens that are too young to be spayed/neutered or cats/kittens that need a safe space to recover from a health issue before being placed for adoption. For those cat behavioralists out there, we do also need fosters to take in cats that need socialization work before they are able to be adopted. We pay for all medical expenses and supplies. Mission Statement
To provide safe harbor, medical care and love for adoptable animals that have been abused, abandoned and neglected until they are placed into loving, responsible permanent homes; to decrease the need for senseless destroying of animals by educating the public about the benefits of spaying and neutering; to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness; to promote respect for life, responsible pet ownership and to encourage the higher ideals of compassion toward animals and people through education and example.
Description
Tails of the free is a registered 501c3 non-profit rescue that was founded by a passionate group of volunteers. We have quickly expanded the rescue to five locations in Chester Co, in Partnership with Pet Valu. We all are animal lovers and many of us would take them all in if we could.
We work with the local community as well as high kill shelters to bring in as many adoptable animals as we can in order to find them loving, caring homes. We are no-kill and all the animals in our care are safe while waiting for adoption.
Between our main partner Pet Valu and our dedicated fosters we are able to save many animals that would simply be passed over and forgotten.
