Signature Hospice invites you to share your compassionate heart with patients and families in Salem, Woodburn, Stayton, Dallas, Sublimity and many other Salem communities. The holidays are approaching. Deepen your gratitude by sharing the gift of simple companionship with those who will benefit greatly. Take time out of your hectic schedule to rest in healing presence.

Hospice Companion Volunteer -- Spend 2 hours a week visiting with a hospice patient in your Salem/Marion County community. Companionship is many things -- help enjoy the holidays by decorating, singing holiday carols, writing/sending holiday cards, listening to stories of holidays past, reading poignant prayer, poetry, stories, holding a hand in gentle silence. Hospice is about quality of life in each moment. Our volunteer training will help deepen your awareness of the healing presence you have available to share in this journey of life.

The next volunteer training is comprised of three sessions: March 3rd, 4th, & 11th for approx 21hrs of training. The training is held in Portland/Tigard, your patient visits will be in your Salem/Marion County community.
