ESL Class Assistant (Ready to Work)

Help students gain English language, literacy and digital literacy skills to improve career options and build confidence

Number of Positions: 1

Position Hours: Monday and/or Thursday 9:00 AM - Noon

Requirements: Fluency in English. Asian or North African language skill a plus.

Minimum Age Requirement: 20 Duration Requirement: 3 months/1 quarter

Assist in the Ready to Work class, providing direct support to students with limited English proficiency under the direction of the instructor. Assist lead teacher during field trips as well.

Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization offering a broad array of human services and behavioral health programs to Asian Pacific Americans in King County. ACRS is the largest multiservice organization serving all the different Asian Pacific American communities - immigrants, refugees and American born - in the Pacific Northwest.
