The Volunteer Greeter is the first point of contact for anyone calling and/or stopping by the Food Shelf. He/she is responsible for sharing a friendly welcome to all visitors, answering the phones, entering client appointments, returning voice messages, and responding to walk-ins (either clients or donors) in a timely matter.
- We have two openings for the Greeter Position. Options include Mondays - 9:30 am -12:30 pm, Wednesdays - 2:00 - 5:00 pm, Thursdays 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
Training provided - prior reception experience not neccesary.

Mission Statement
The White Bear Area Emergency Food Shelf has been providing food to our neighbors in need since 1977. We do this in close partnership with our community - with individuals, churches, schools, businesses, neighborhood associations and other community groups.
Description
The White Bear Area Food Shelf (WBAFS) has served as a critical resource for families struggling with food insecurity since 1977. Over the past four decades, we have grown and improved our traditional food shelf programming in addition to creating new and innovative services to better meet the needs of our neighbors.
