Greetings Volunteers!
Our next big project at the Stanley Reach site is to plant native grasses on the banks of the Arroyo Mocho - but first, we need to remove the invasive and non-native weeds that have taken over. We will be hand-weeding to make room for new native plants!
We'll work from 9 AM to noon, and will supply equipment, snacks and water for volunteers. Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. We work rain or shine, so come prepared! A hat, water bottle, and sunblock will help.
**WE WILL MEET AT THE WEST END OF THE SITE.**
Park: Anywhere on Rockrose St., Livermore 94551 (You can google map 10 Rockrose St.). Follow the signs to find our site. Allow a few extra minutes for parking and finding us; we'd like to start right at 9 am.
Every volunteer must have a signed waiver on file:
- If you're under 18: please bring a release form filled out by a parent/guardian.
- If you are over 18: you will fill one out for yourself.
- Waivers and release forms are available at www.livingarroyos.org/get-involved/
- NOTE: You only need to fill out a release form ONCE and you're good for the year (Oct-Apr)!
We look forward to sharing this day with you!
