AFI Advanced Care is looking for confident, compassionate, caring volunteer's to assist those in need. Many of our patients are in need comfort and companionship, as some of our patients do not have family living nearby. By volunteering for AFI Advanced Care you will providing neccessary care to patients nearing the end stage of their life. Our patients would be forever grateful for the time you could share with them.

AFI Advanced Care has several patients located in Weber County, Davis County and Salt Lake County. . Our program focuses on either pairing up volunteers with patients who live near them but also share similar interests or finding an activity that fits with the volunteer and our organization's needs. Volunteering schedules are flexible. AFI Advanced Care does require an orientation/training that volunteers must attend to ensure every volunteer is comfortable and fully prepared before they are placed with a patient. In addition, volunteers will need to be able to pass a backround check and TB test.

AFI Hospice is committed to patient-centered care, professional and timely management of symptoms and comfort. AFI Hospice will be that advocate for patients who choose a peaceful, dignified end of life surrounded by family and loved ones.
