Disaster Action Team Member In Training
- Provide timely response to disasters and assist those affected
- Respond to disaster scenes as assigned by Team Leader within two hours
- Meet the needs of those affected by disasters such as the need for shelter and food by providing Red Cross services
- Complete forms related to service
- Provide referrals to other agencies
- Choose your commitment to be called upon in your chosen 6-hour shift of availability at least three times per month
- Be available for bi-annual disaster drills
- Attend at least four, monthly disaster volunteer meetings per year
