Our world needs compassion and caring now more than ever and YOU can make an impact as a Hospice Volunteer for Sojourn Hospice! Our Volunteers are a vital part of our Hospice Caring Team and provide compassionate presence and companionship to our clients and their families who are living with a life-limiting illness. Hospice is about living as fully as possible for as long as possible and our hospice volunteers truly make a difference! Sojourn Hospice Volunteers receive in depth training and orientation to prepare them to bring their open hearts and sincere concern to each personal assignment. No prior experience is necessary. A minimum commitment of 4 hours of service each week for one year is required. (Hours and days are flexible). You must be at least 18 years of age. We serve clients in Santa Clara County, San Mateo County, East Bay and the Peninsula. This service opportunity changes lives...including your own!
