Are you looking for something fun that's out of the non-profit ordinary? Passionate about do-it-yourself projects and looking for ways to give back to the community? Does meeting your neighbors and working with tools sound like fun? The Southeast Seattle Tool Library is looking for you! The Southeast Seattle Tool Library is open for business, and we're growing fast! We need volunteers to help people navigate the library, assist with checking tools out, accept donations, and sign up new members. Volunteer opportunities are also available if you want to share your knowledge and/or experience by leading workshop demonstrations of specific types of tools or projects. For all volunteers, we will provide basic orientation and training. While some basic knowledge of tool functions, troubleshooting and repair is helpful, we don't require any minimum levels of experience with tools in order to volunteer for us-- just an eagerness to learn! We are open Mondays 8pm-9pm, Wednesdays from 5-7pm, Fridays 4-6pm, and Saturdays from 10am-2pm.
