The Austin Public Library is looking for 2 volunteers to assist with maintaining Library records in accordance to the Records Control Schedule through cataloging, filing, and data entry. Projects will include electronic photograph transfers, policies and procedures documents, updating records inventories, and preparing reports as needed.

This position requires volunteers to move boxes up to 50lbs and to bend, stoop, and stretch with or without reasonable accommodations. The position is best suited for detail oriented individuals who love to organize. Experience with Microsoft Office, working with records schedules, and the ability to quickly learn databases are a must. We require a minimum 4 hour weekly commitment for a minimum of six months.

Flexible days/times available but must be scheduled Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.
