Mission Statement

To increase students’ academic skills by enhancing their intellectual acuity and awareness as well as closing the achievement gap for students functioning at or below grade-level in the areas of language arts, writing, and communication.

Description

Immaculant Educational Consulting is a non-profit organization found in 2015 by two former high school special education classroom instructors. Their teaching experience revealed the discrepancies between student academic achievement gaps and curriculum mandates required by generally standardized education policies. Many of their students were from low socioeconomic backgrounds where high-end educational resources needed to function in the general education environment are often not available in spite of the federal mandates indicating all children have the right to a fair and equal opportunity learning experience.

As former student-athletes, Fiona C. Cross and Mikal H. Williams also support those participating in extracurricular sports by offering after-school enrichment services designed to facilitate a consistent balance between education and athletics. iMMAC-U, is a community-based initiative that caters to the entire well-being of the student-athlete and comprehension the importance of fundamental health and education, and cooperative learning.

Not excluding any child on any academic-level, iMMAC-U meets students where they are with the hopes of developing the leadership skills in which all students possess.
