We have volunteer opportunities on the phone to reach out to the community and help more people live independently.
The Public Authority in Alameda County supports persons with disabilities by providing access to pre-screened homecare workers. We also train people to become effective homecare workers and help them support themselves while careing for others.
As a volunteer, you may talk to more poeple about our FREE resources and training on how to navigate social service systems and/or to utiilize the IHSS program effectively.
We will appreciate your creative ideas to reach out to more community leaders, members, and oragnizations and let more people utilize our FREE services to enhance the In-Home Supportive Serivces.
