About

The Museum of the San Fernando Valley is looking for local poets to collaborate on our 4th annual Big Read event! This is in participation with the LA Department of Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment of the Arts, and will take place in Spring 2017.

We're looking for poets who are inspired by experiences, places or local history in the San Fernando Valley to create original poetry, to be performed in an open, community setting. This may either be in the style of a "poetry walk" or at a single location in the San Fernando Valley. Songwriters are invited, too!

We also need collaborators to assist with coordinating this event, reaching out to local businesses and community organizations, and event promotion. Please contact us if interested!
