South Florida Location: Seeking foster volunteers to provide loving temporary or forever homes for rescued or displaced dogs and cats. Foster parents save lives of precious dogs and cats by buying time for them to find their forever home. We can rescue as many cats and dogs as are available foster homes. Location is your home. All pet food, vet care is provided and all expenses are reimbursed. In some cases when people lose their homes and may need a foster for three or more months, there is a stipend available to foster dog or cat in your home.

Mission Statement
To provide free pet food and other pet care services to Palm Beach County pet owners who are living in poverty. Pet food delivery is provided to the home-bound including the elderly, the disabled and those without vehicles.
Description
Passion for Paws, Inc. operates the Passion for Paws pet food bank and other pet care assistance programs that help pet owners to retain their pets during troubled times. By keeping pets in their forever homes, we can save the lives of cats and dogs that other wise might end up in a kill shelter. In 2009, 24,000 homeless cats and dogs were euthanized in PBC.
Pet owners who are living in poverty are provided free pet food and other pet care assstance on a short-term, emergency basis. Pet food assistance is provided for up to 6 months.
Volunteers are needed to assist with fundraising and to lead pet food collection drives.
