TLE is looking for interested English-speaking volunteers to work one-on-one with adult students to help further them in their academic English studies. Volunteers will work with a Resource person to tutor individuals on specific concepts. For example:
- writing strategies
- sentence structure
- opinion vs fact
- writing a business letter
- oral communication
- reading strategies

Our Mandate
The Learning Exchange (TLE)/Centre Lire-Écrire is a volunteer not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing:
* Adult Literacy and Tutoring: One-on-one and small group instruction to adults in need
* Volunteer/Tutor Training
* Public Awareness and Sensitization
* Volunteer/Student Recruitment
* Community Resource and Learning Centre
* Volunteer/Student Outreach and Retention
* Prevention and Intervention
