It is often difficult for our hospice patients to get out for haircut and/or hair styling appointments, however this is something that is essential for their general well being, and yes even for some it brings happiness!
Looking for a licensed stylist to provide simple haircuts for men and women in their home, or a Nursing Home. This will not be a daily, or even weekly opportunity. Most of the requests we get for haircuts are about 6 weeks apart if not more. Sometimes a simple blow-dry and style are requested, but mostly haircuts only.
Manager of Volunteer Services routinely accompanies volunteer on the assignment for added support and/or assistance.
