We have our rescued cats living in a self-boarding facility in Duarte and we need volunteers who can spend a couple of hours of time each week with them. We have a schedule and assigned shifts. Currently we need people who can do either a morning shift, which begins at 9 am or an afternoon shift, which can be anytime from 1 to 4pm. We need help each day of the week and can use multiple volunteers.
Volunteers clean the kennels and and feed the kitties. Volunteers can brush and socialize. We ask that volunteers be interested in helping long-term and request that you not apply for this opportunity for use in school projects, including college level, or community credit. This is a great opportunity for people who love cats and who can spend a couple hours each week with our rescues. We have a diverse group of felines ranging in age from 1 to 10. They all have a unique history and personality, just like us. An appreciation of this will enhance your experience!
When you inquire, we will try to get in touch with you within 48 hours by text, call or email. Be patient; we greatly appreciate all offers of help! Please do not inquire about this opportunity unless you are ready to commit. We are an all volunteer run organization and we ask for the courtesy of only applying if you are able and ready to respond. Please leave your phone number in your communication to us.
About Homeless To Forever Foundation
PO BOX 661533, ARCADIA, CA 91066, US
We are a non profit animal rescue foundation, our primary aim is to provide rescue and forever home placement of animals from the Southern California shelter systems. We aim to provide last minute rescue to critters and other animals that have been scheduled for euthanasia and have run out of time in securing help from local animal rescue organizations.
Our secondary goal is to provide the same quality of rescue and placement for animals abandoned or in need of being re-homed by private individuals with the goal of preventing these creatures from otherwise entering the shelter system, while also providing limited and minimal support to selected private individuals in need of emergency medical and daily living care for their animals with the goal of preventing these creatures from being surrendered to the shelter system.
We save doggies, kitties, critters and other animals from dying in the shelters, which means we also try to help some creatures, as best we can, from going to the shelters in the first place. We care for our animals while they stay in foster homes throughout the LA County and Valley areas. We have multiple adoption fairs and we house some of our cats at Petsmart in Monrovia, CA.
We'll work with your schedule.
