Kids Cooking Camp

Do you like working with younger children? Enjoy cooking and have basic kitchen knowledge?

Join Chelsea Community Kitchen this summer during our Kids Cooking Camp, Monday July 31 through Friday August 4, 2017, at Chelsea First United Methodist Church as a volunteer camp teacher aid.

CCK is looking for individuals to assist our camp instructor with leading groups, assisting kids with cooking activities, setup and cleanup, and making sure the camp runs smoothly. Shifts are 4 hours, or all day. You can elect to volunteer any or all days.

Chelsea Community Kitchen (CCK) is a non-profit focused on a vision of a community where enthusiasm for local food helps people, the environment, and the economy thrive. Programs in the Western Washtenaw area focus on educating consumers about eating local and healthy, providing access to education and counseling support for people who want to start or grow a food-based business, and connecting food entrepreneurs, educators, and local food enthusiasts with kitchens they can rent.
