Alpha Home is a faith-based residential treatment center for substance abuse for women 18+, we also have outpatient programs for men and women 18+. We are in need of someone who would be generous to spend their time with our food service manager with helping him go grocery shopping for over 47 clients.

If you could help us with the following, please give us a call at 210.735.3822 or email at volunteer@alphahome.org. You must be able to pass a urine analysis and background check prior to starting volunteer work.

Duties:

  • Ride along with Food Service Manager to pick up food at Food Bank

  • Lift boxes of food into cart

  • Loading boxes into Alpha Home van

  • Unloading boxes into Alpha Home residential homes

  • Must be able to lift 50 LBS
