Good day,

We are private school with almost 40 years experience in the process of converting to REACH Charter School of Clifton for 2016-2017. If selected, we would work with you throughout the application process. Next year you would serve on the board, if our application is approved. Below is a brief summary of our application:

For almost 40 years, our unique mission has been to:

1) Educate the Whole Child

Engaging Curriculum -Field Trips -Swimming -Music -Art -Violin -Theater

After-school programs: gardening, Rotary Interact, sports, dance, tutoring & more

2) Develop Strong Parent/Community Engagement

PTO, frequent communication, monthly family events and performances

3) Provide Individualized Student Support

Student Support Team works with teachers to use student portfolios to create personalized learning programs

4) Integrate Technology to Support All Areas of Study

Each student has a device, Smartboard access, online learning programs

We will remain in our exceptional facility with access to:

-500-seat theater -Swimming pool -Gymnasium -Playground

-Baseball/Sports Field -Library/Media Center -Large Cafeteria

Over half of our diverse student body resides in Clifton and Passaic with one-third qualifying for free/reduced lunch. Last year our school scored in the 89th percentile on a national standardized test. We find that many local families are unable to pay our already low tuition. Converting to REACH Charter School will offer Clifton and Passaic families a choice and allow us to serve more children in the community AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO TAXPAYERS OR FAMILIES.

We are looking for applicants qualified in any of the following areas:

  • School leadership, administration, and governance;
  • Curriculum, instruction, and assessment;
  • Performance management;
  • Parent and community engagement;
  • Professional development;
  • General operations;
  • Facilities management;
  • Financial management; and
  • Fundraising and development;

If you are qualified and interested in making a difference in the lives of families and children, then please email me for further information.
