Volunteer tutors are needed to provide homework assistance to the children of Community Consolidated School District 62's Bilingual Parent Advisory Council (BiPAC). BiPAC is a group of parents who volunteer their time to learn about the U.S. schooling system. The group meets on specific dates once a month to examine various educational topics. Members bring their kids (grades K-8) to receive homework help while they learn.
Volunteer tutors are needed to help provide academic support to these students. Applicants must be willing to undergo a background check. Knowledge of Spanish is helpful but not required. A commitment to serve all 6 sessions is strongly preferred.
