Are you passionate about history? Do you want to inspire young minds? Then keep history alive in your community by volunteering at the Ruthmere Museum! Make learning fun for others by becoming a tour guide. #inspire #teach #giveback #support #volunteer
We are offering new training opportunities for the upcoming 2017 season. Train during the months of January-April before the new tour season starts! Contact vjohnston@ruthmere.org or call 574-264-0330 ext. 116 if you are interested in joining our group of dedicated volunteers.

Description
We are a historic property with two house museums, one built in 1848 and the other in 1910 by the Beardsley family of Elkhart, IN. We give guided tours through our homes and inform our guests not only about our own extensive collection but also about the importance of this history in our community.
