R+FP needs volunteers for the Foster and Adoption Department (AKA Rescue Dept.)!
Rescue + Freedom Project, (formerly Beagle Freedom Project), is an animal rights and advocacy organization that helps to rescue and home animals that were formerly used in laboratory experiments, as well as from other abusive situations such as hoarding, puppy mills and the illegal meat trade slaughter.
Being a small organization, we depend on our volunteers to help with important tasks, such as responding to applications, recording application information and helping prep for out of state rescues. Volunteers in the Rescue Dept. will help with all of this and more!
Volunteers in this department are required to be available 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will need to spend 4-5 hours at the office. Training is required for a Rescue Dept. volunteer, so only dedicated applicants need apply.
Email volunteer@rescuefreedomproject.org with questions or if you are interested in volunteering.
Please note, this is an on-site volunteer opportunity only, and volunteers must be able to come to the R+FP office in Toluca Lake, CA to volunteer.
If applicant is not a good fit with the Rescue Dept., there are other volunteer opportunities with R+FP, as well!
