ABERG CENTER for LITERACY needs volunteers for our Early Childhood Program.

In Aberg Center for Literacy’s Early Childhood program we work with our toddler group (2-3 y/o). This program is structured to help children develop their early literacy and language skills as well as fine and gross motor skills.

Volunteers assist the classroom teachers in the daily lessons by reading books to children, helping with crafts, building with Legos, putting puzzles together, singing, participating in imaginary play, etc.

The program’s schedule is Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 12:00. We ask volunteers to commit to a minimum of 1 day per week for 2-3 hours.

If you are interested or would like more information please contact volunteer@abergcenter.org or call 214-826-6501 x306
