PCAF is looking for front desk/admin volunteers to answer phones, greet visitors and assist with various admin projects. The opportunity is 4 hours per week and a 6 month commitment is required.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct calls
- Greet visitors
- Answer basic questions about PCAF
Qualifications:
- Must have basic office and customer service skills.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Must be comfortable with topics of sexuality, sexual orientation and sexually transmitted diseases.
Training: All incoming PCAF volunteers must first schedule a New Volunteer Orientation meeting with the Develpoment Coordinator and pass a criminal history background check.
Benefits: Volunteers will gain knowledge about HIV/AIDS and the experience of working at a nonprofit organization. They will also gain satisfaction from helping clients and visitors access resources and care at PCAF.

PCAF, through education and service, prevents HIV infection, assists persons affected by HIV/AIDS, addresses related health problems, and combats associated stigma and discrimination.
Description
PCAF is a non-profit organization established in 1987 to respond to the needs of persons living with HIV/AIDS. In 2012 PCAF expanded its services by establishing a second office in Olympia, Washington. Today, PCAF serves Pierce, Thurston, and Lewis Counties.
PCAF is dedicated to assisting persons living with HIV/AIDS to meet their needs for food, housing, healthcare and personal support. PCAF provides personalized case management services to people living with HIV/AIDS and extensive outreach/education/prevention programming to help stop the spread of HIV and combat HIV related stigma.
