This Amerii-Corps Vista program provides organizations and volunteers with high-quality tools needed to take on more ambitous, more meaningful, and more frequent community development projects - including painting schools, building wheelchair ramps, and landscraping public-areas. This non-profit has been such a blessing to Habitat for Humanity Northwest Harris County. This agency eliminates the need for agencies to incure the expense of purchasing, repairing, and storing tools, reducing the costs associated with service projects and allowing these agencies to focus more of their resources on their mission.

RSVP's mission is to provide opportunities for individuals ages 55 and above, to engage in service that addresses the nation's educational, public safety, environmental, and other human needs to achieve direct and demonstrable results and to encourage all seniors to engage in such service. In doing so, RSVP will foster civic responsibility, strengthen the ties that bind us together as a people, and provide educational opportunity for those who make a substantial commitment to service.

RSVP is a gateway for volunteerism in the community. RSVP provides many free benefits including free volunteer insurance, learning opportunities, and volunteer recognition.
